Jadid or El-Gedid (Arabic: الجديد) is a Saharan desert oasis town in the Fezzan region of southwest Libya.
Jadid is located 657 km (408 mi) south-southwest of the capital of Libya, Tripoli, and 346 km (215 mi) north-west of the center of Libya.
